Kirstie and Coleman were married 2/22/14 at the home of Robert & Gina Pressley, the groom’s parents. I received a facebook message just four short days before their wedding asking if I was available to photograph their special day and of course, I said YES. When Jennifer and I arrived, we felt right at home. You could feel the love among the family. With only close family and a few friends, Kirstie and Coleman were married at the gazebo right below the house. The part that truly touched me was when Coleman (the groom) said a prayer for the two of them during the ceremony. It was so sweet and heartfelt. I have to say I did tear up just a bit. Kirstie wore some beautiful accessories the day of the wedding, one being her gown, which her mom gave her. Gina, Coleman’s mom, gave Kirstie her earrings which were Kirstie’s favorite symbol, the forever symbol. The hankerchief you see in the bouquet was Kirstie’s great grandmothers and her nana gave her the bracelet she wore. Kirstie and Coleman dated in high school for two years and then reunited a year ago. The song played at the ceremony was “It feels like home to me”. Scripture was read during the ceremony. All in all, it was a great start for weddings 2014. I would like to thank you both for allowing Jennifer and I the opportunity to photograph your special day. Praying God blesses both of you and sweet Maci and gives you many long and happy years together!!
