Anna + Chad | Four M Acres Events | Asheville Wedding Photographer

Anna & Chad were married by Chad's grandfather at the beautiful Four M Acres Events in Leicester on May 5th.  Anna had everything ready for us to start shooting details right when we arrived.  Her colors were a beautiful palette of blush, greens and navy blue.  There was a quick rain shower and then everyone grabbed some paper towels, dried off the seats, and we were able to proceed with the ceremony.  This was my first time photographing a wedding at this venue and I would have to say BJ & Melisa did a phenomenal job with hosting and catering.  The food was awesome!!

What I love about Anna & Chad is that they are super sweet and genuine.  They were a joy to spend the day with and I wish the two of them a lifetime of happiness and blessings!  It was hard to narrow down the blog post because there were SO many awesome images from their day so here are a few of my favorites.  Thank you to all of the incredible vendors who made their day FABULOUS!!  You guys ROCK!!  A huge thank you to Paige Broome for assisting me!!

Omni Grove Park Inn Proposal | Janet + Bobby | Asheville Engagement Photographer

Loved photographing this sweet couples proposal at the gorgeous Omni Grove Park Inn.  Bobby asked Janet to marry him the day before Valentine's Day.  They are both senior medical students in Greenville, South Carolina, who are getting ready to graduate in just a few short months.  Bobby got down on one knee and proposed to Janet at the beautiful Vanderbilt Terrace and then I introduced myself and we continued all around the property with engagement photos.  It was so great to meet you both and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love!!  Thank you for choosing me to document this special time in your lives!!

Chris & Chase were married at the gorgeous venue, The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill, on the last day of 2017.  It was a cold morning mixed with a little bit of light falling snow.  I met the couple first at the Omni Grove Park Inn where we captured some detail shots and couple shots then we all headed to the venue for the elopement.  Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple was married by Katrina Evans from Destination Elopements and then enjoyed a sweet reception with an Oreo cookie cake made by her sister-n-law.   It was great meeting you two!!  A huge thank you to all the wonderful vendors who made their day PERFECT.

This session is close to my heart because this is my youngest niece, Abigail (Abby) Bell.  Abby is a senior at Sanford Christian Academy in Sanford, Maine and will be graduating this year and then plans to head to Crown College in Powell, TN.  When you meet Abby instantly you are drawn to her sweet personality and her crazy personality.  She is a joy to be around and she's gorgeous inside and out!!  We started off in Sanford for some photos around Mill 67 then headed to a field down the road from their home and then we were off to Wells Beach where we finished up her senior portrait session.   So thankful I've had the opportunity to photograph all of my nieces and nephew now and I look forward to seeing my family again real soon in Maine.  Abby, I love you and I'm praying God uses you in a mighty way!!  LOVE, Aunt Tracy

Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Wedding | Kelly + Johnathan | Waynesville Wedding Photographer

I love small beautiful church weddings and this one was filled to capacity with family and friends for the wedding of Kelly & Johnathan.  The couple had written letters to each other prior to their vows and we got to witness those special moments.  I think I was most impressed with how the fellowship hall was decorated with a complete floral backdrop for the bride and groom's table.  Kelly looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress that fit her perfect escorted by her dad.  The look on Johnathan's face as she walked down the aisle was priceless.  After the vows we were able to find a small patch of bamboo right beside the church for some intimate couple portraits.  Then it was on the reception where Kelly & Johnathan did a choreographed first dance and one with her father following.  So much love in one room!! I would like to thank the couple for choosing me to document their day and a huge thank you to the incredible vendors who helped make their day a fairy tale wedding!!   Here are a few of my very favorite images from their wedding day!!

The Altamont Theatre | Barbra + Wade | Asheville Wedding Destination Photographer

The day began with Barbra & Wade getting ready at a beautiful two story house located on French Broad Avenue.  The setting was super laid back with their family and closest friends enjoying the day together.  After we had taken most of the details shots, the couple along with their wedding party, got on the Gray Line Trolley for a tour around downtown Asheville.  Their wedding was held at The Altamont Theatre.  The setting was absolutely gorgeous with the glow of candles and twinkling lights, just about as romantic as you can get.  Barbra handled every detail perfectly from the wooden name place settings and menus to the perfect little "to go" dessert boxes with a personalized sticker with their name and wedding date on it.

Thank you Barbra & Wade for choosing me to document your wedding day and for trusting us to do what we love the most, photographing couples who are madly in love!!

Well after two tries with the weather not cooperating, we were finally able to photograph this lovely couple along with Buttercup, Kendra's fur baby, at Biltmore Estate.  They kept me laughing constantly and I had to really work with Avery on smiling, but by the end he was a pro.  Here are my favorites from their couple session at Biltmore!!

My Beloved Homewood | Kelly | Bridals

So excited to share Kelly's bridal session from My Beloved Homewood!! She asked me if I would mind if she brought her little fur baby for part of the session and of course, I said YES.  SO GLAD I DID.  I mean, look at this little boy in his tux, so stinking cute.  She also brought along props that included lanterns which made me think of the video from Taylor Swift's song, Love Story.  Props to Megan with Just Wing It Artistry for the incredible make-up and to Tiffany Payne at the Iris Salon for her incredible hair styling.  You girls ROCK!!  Here are my very favorites from her bridal session.

These two were a joy to work with along with their family.  Sarah looked absolutely gorgeous in her lace short-sleeved wedding dress and I loved getting all the detail shots with her favorite perfume and those shoes, who doesn't love flat comfortable lacy shoes on their wedding day?  Daniel & Sarah walked in together right after their bridesmaids and groomsmen and they had a sweet ceremony surrounded by close family and friends.  The weather was perfect with no rain and a gorgeous view of the mountains in the background.  A special thank you to Kella Cox who was able to come and do Sarah's hair and make-up last minute!!

Good News Baptist Church | Kendall + Nick | Asheville Wedding Photographer

Who doesn't love a good LOVE story?  I DO!!!  These two are the kindest people you will ever meet, seriously and genuinely in love with God and each other.  The day started off with the bridal party getting ready at the Buffalo Creek Vacation Cabins in Clyde and then we all headed to the church for some photographs of the bridal party and detail shots before the wedding began.  Here is how they met in Kendall's words....

"I began writing prayers and letters to my future husband when I was 18 years old. After a while of writing them, God placed it on my heart to give these letters to my husband on our wedding day. Not knowing my husbands name, I addressed them to "My tough and tender warrior", because I felt God telling me that's the kind of man I would marry. A couple years went by, and our wedding day was quickly approaching, so Nick's dad restored a wooden box that has been passed down from generations past in his family for me to put the letters, as well as my purity/promise ring in it to give Nick on our wedding day.  His dad, his best man, presented it to him the night before our wedding.

We met at Biltmore Church through college group and school bible studies, but really connected on a missions trip to Guatemala City and began dating shortly after.  I first began a deep friendship with him during the summer of 2015, and the week we connected in Guatemala I knew I wanted to marry him. The rest is history!"
