Meet Amber…She’s graduating from Erwin High School this year (2012). We had a great time all around downtown Asheville. Her mom joined us for the special occasion and her sister, Abby, joined us at the end for a few pics. She was a natural beauty in front of the camera. I wish you the best Amber as you graduate. Meet the Morgan Family…

Pawpaw – Gene Morgan
Nana – Brenda Morgan
Son – Michael Morgan married to Myra Morgan
and their children, Josie Grace – 6-years-old and Taylor Faith – 10-years-old and I can’t forget Woogie – their sweet cat.

Myra found me on Facebook and we corresponded for a while before we could find a date that would work for both of us. I made a trip to their home in Newland, North Carolina. The main purpose for this photoshoot was to get photographs of the family with the old tractor that has been in the family since Pawpaw was young. We also worked in some Easter pics with the chicks. The whole family was a delight and the girls were so sweet to me. You can just see the love and joy this family has for each other. Dad & Mrs. Tammy

Well for those of you who don’t know, my mom went to heaven to meet Jesus October 5, 2010. My mom and dad were married for 46 years. They truly loved each other. I can certainly say I was blessed to have her on earth as long as I did.

Meet Mrs. Tammy….She knew my mom and dad before and thought the world of them. She had never been married. At first her and dad just enjoyed an occasional dinner out now and then. My dad enjoyed just having a companion to do things with. They had a quick engagement and then married this past October. I can say at the time I was not ready for this to happen. I did want my dad to not be alone and to have someone to enjoy his time with, but it had only been a year since my mom had passed and emotionally I was not ready to handle everything. So I made the choice to not attend the wedding. I didn’t want to put a damper on their special day. With time comes adjustment and opening of your heart. She loves to help with my brother’s ministry in Maine as my mom did. She is a helpmeet to my dad which is a wonderful thing.

A few weeks ago….my Dad and Mrs. Tammy came for a visit with me and the kids. They stayed at our house two nights and three days. We had a wonderful time. The first thing Mrs. Tammy said that evening was…everyone loved to be around your mom and dad. People were drawn to them. Like my mom, Mrs. Tammy loves my dad, she cares for him, she makes him laugh, she is concerned about his diet (eating healthy) which is quite cute and I do believe the Lord sent her for him. He is not lonely. He is not sad. I know he misses mama as I do, but there is life after death and I am glad God placed Mrs. Tammy in my dad’s path.

I hope you enjoy the photos I captured of their time here. Here are a few pics of our days together at the park and some of dad and Mrs. Tammy. It was lovely to meet you and I’m so glad you are taking such great care of my daddy!!

They met a year ago on a baseball field. They fell in love and they’re getting married July 21st. Jason is our youth pastor at Trinity Baptist Church and Kella is his beautiful wife and fabulous (hairstylist) I might add. Together they make a beautiful family inside and out. I had the pleasure of doing Whitney’s bridals this past year. Her mamaw, otherwise known as “Nornie” accompanied her for the photoshoot. I have known Whitney since she was just a baby.
