My Favorite Wedding Images from 2015

I feel absolutely blessed to have been able to meet and photograph the greatest couples this year!!  I had the privilege of shooting 15 weddings plus one reception . I also shot 3 surprise proposals at the Biltmore Estate and I shot my first wedding at Biltmore Estate.  I had so much fun shooting at several new venues this year including Lonesome Valley, The Capital Club of Asheville, The Buck House Inn on Bald Creek and Pine Hollow in Fairview.  I couldn't have accomplished this without the help of some awesome second shooters.  You guys ROCK!!  I am so grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and I am so thankful for God blessing my business and me in so many ways.   I'm looking forward to 2016 and what it will bring.  A huge thank you to all my clients who have entrusted me with capturing their very special moments.  Happy New Year!!

Asheville Wedding Photographer | Summer & Arrin | Capital Club of Asheville

This gorgeous couple said their "I dos" on July 25th on the rooftop at the Capital Club of Asheville.  The bride and her bridemaids got ready at The Residences at Biltmore while the guys got ready at Hotel Indigo.  Arrin & Summer have known each other since high school, but became best friends in college through the same interests.  They both love to golf, travel and love to spend their weekends at the lake wake-surfing and spending with their furry friend, Maui.  The bride opened up her gift from Arrin which were bangle bracelets by Alex & Ani and a rose gold diamond bracelet.  Arrin received from Summer a new watch.  Every detail was covered from the flowers to the food and the decorations.  I would like to thank you both for letting us be a part of your special day!!

Miranda | Bridals | NC Arboretum

I met with Miranda a few weeks ago to photograph her bridals prior to her wedding. Her mom and grandmother accompanied her.  Three generations sharing in this special moment.  I can't say there weren't any tears shed on that day, but I can say Miranda was stunning and radiant, a natural beauty inside and out.  Thank you for letting me share in this special time of your life.

Asheville Wedding Photographer / Tabatha & Brian / Married

Congratulations to Tabatha & Brian who tied the knot on January 3rd at Mount Sheba Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC!!  Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!!  May God richly bless your marriage.  Here is how they met and how Brian proposed (in Tabatha's words)

"We met September 3, 2012, and it was the first day of chemistry class.  He walked in and had a pink eraser in his mouth and I thought it was Laffy Taffy.  Even though I was very shy, I asked him if it was a Laffy Taffy and he turned around and saw me and fastly said "No" and took his seat.  Little did i know that would lead to a great friendship and more!

Brian and I started dating November 29, 2012, when he asked me to date him at our school's Christmas lights, with a stuffed monkey and a necklace. And of course, I said yes!

The day before Brian proposed to me, Nicole, her friend and Brian and I were in the hot tub and my.mother called me upstairs to take care of something for her. While i was gone Brian told my sister and her friend that he was going to pop the question tomorrow, which was the 29th of March, 2013, and asked my sister and Emily if they would video record the whole proposal.  The next day at 6 o'clock we took a walk on the beach at sunset.  Little did i know that my life was about to change!  As he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him,  I quickly agreed with a teary eyed YES!!"
