Brooke + Michael Wedding | Macedonia Baptist Church | Asheville Wedding Photographer

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Proverbs 31: 10-12

I met Brooke and her mom a little over a year and a half ago when they first started wedding planning.  I noticed right away the quiet meek spirit Brooke had along with a genuine kindness. A few months later I met Michael and Brooke at Biltmore for their engagement session and couldn't help but see the strong love and compassion they had for each other.

I don't think I've ever photographed a wedding where the entire church was filled to capacity with friends and family with standing room only.  I grew up in a small country church and I know the close ties you have with your church family.  What was even more special was, Brooke's grandfather married Michael and Brooke.  What a special moment that will never be forgotten.  I must say I cry at almost every wedding I photograph, but especially at this one because the tears flowed down on Brooke & Michael's face as they saw each other for the first time.

Thank you both for choosing me to document your special day!  It was truly a pleasure serving you both.  I wish you joy, happiness and a love and closeness that only God can give you both.

Love & Prayers,  Tracy

Erin + Christopher | New Beginnings Historic Farm | Rutherfordton Wedding Photographer

I'm so excited to share the wedding day of Erin & Christopher!!  One of my favorite weddings to date.  They were married in August at the New Beginnings Historic Farm located in Rutherfordton, NC.  Upon arriving at this gorgeous site, we met John & Sheri Crenshaw, owners of this beautiful wedding venue.  They were so welcoming, so kind and so helpful.  They gave us a quick tour of the property and then we were introduced to Erin & Christopher.  Erin and I had corresponded for a while via email and we met for the first time on the day of their wedding.  I absolutely LOVE that she chose a non-traditional wedding dress.  It was a beautiful vintage style lilac dress that complimented her beautiful skin tones.  Christopher looked handsome in his matching purple bow tie.  I actually thought he looked exactly like a young Clark Kent!!

Right after the rain showers came and went, Erin was escorted down the aisle by her father and brother, surrounded by friends and family.  I am happy they chose to spend about 15 minutes following the ceremony for some bride and groom shots.  Seriously, these are my very FAVORITE from their entire wedding.  You guys were so awesome and so easy to photograph!!

If you're looking for an incredible venue with sweet owners, a full farm, plenty of parking, a fantastic outdoor barn, old antiques both inside and outside the home, a separate groomsmen cottage and much much more....you will want to check out New Beginnings Historic Farm.  I promise you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Erin & Christopher for choosing us to photograph your momentous occasion and to all of the incredible vendors listed below!!  You guys were awesome to work with!

Nona + Cody | Married | Black Mountain Wedding Photographer

Nona & Cody were married at the Lakeview Center located in Black Mountain. Their wedding was super laid back and lots of fun. The forecast was for rain that day, but we were able to get some pretty sweet shots of the couple before the rain set in. I loved the colors they chose for their wedding. The red roses were absolutely gorgeous and the vintage style of Nona's dress was breathtaking. Thank you for choosing me to photograph your special day and a huge thanks to all who helped to make their day go so smooth.
